With its wild landscapes and few people, Iceland's a great place to catch the Northern Lights, especially in spots like Thingvellir National Park and the Reykjanes Peninsula.
It's in the middle of Alaska, where it's cold and dark, so you can often see the Northern Lights, especially in winter.
